Piccolo Café Plus to celebrate five years in Prescott
Posted Feb 4, 2010 By EMC NewsEMC Business - The Piccolo Café Plus, in downtown Prescott, will celebrate its fifth anniversary on Tuesday, Feb. 9, with an afternoon of refreshments and good conversation for customers, old and new. The residents of Prescott and the Seaway Valley are invited to join café owners Maggie and Jerry Duris between 2 and 4 p.m. to celebrate five years of being in business in Prescott.
Coffee and cake will be served to one and all as Maggie and Jerry say "thank you" to all the customers who have helped the small business to flourish.
Located on King Street West in Prescott, the Piccolo Café Plus serves breakfast all-day, both North American and European lunch alternatives and a variety of coffee selections and hot and cold beverage options that are sure to please the most discerning palate.
The Durises are strong believers in the importance of small business enterprise to communities such as Prescott, and are also proud owners of the J&D Pawn Shop and the Piccolo Café Plus Bed & Breakfast - both housed in the same building as the café. The establishment is also home to its own bakery, as The B's Bakery opened inside the café last October, and Cottage Lane Collectibles can be found inside the pawn shop.
"We hope that all of our customers and friends - old and new - will come and join us on Tuesday afternoon to help us celebrate this important anniversary," said café owner Maggie Duris.
The Piccolo Café Plus is located at 178 King St. W. in Prescott, just east of the clock tower.
