'Herstory of Sheroes' focus of Girls Inc. March Break program

They are all famous women who believed in themselves and went against societal norms and pursued their dreams!
This is it girls, if you are between the ages of six and 13, you are invited to join the staff at Girls Inc. and explore the achievements and struggles of women in history, the development of North America and celebrate our "girl-hood."
Everyone has a story to tell, we can learn from everyone's experiences - not just the famous ones.
Participants will discover the greatness within themselves and the people around them while developing into strong, smart and bold girls.
Girls Incorporated of Upper Canada will be hosting "Herstory of Sheroes" March Break camps in two communities, both in Brockville and Kemptville where girls will be given the opportunity to participate in fun, hands-on games and activities, and meaningful, interactive opportunities to explore the history of women and celebrate our future.
The March Break program will be held from Monday, March 15 to Friday, March 19, and is open to girls ages six to 13.
The program will be offered at The Community Room, 11 Hastings Dr. in Brockville from 1 to 3 p.m. and at a location to be announced in Brockville from 9 a.m. to noon, as well as at the Kemptville Youth Centre, 221 Prescott St. in Kemptville from 9 a.m. to noon.
Cost for members is $25 for the week and $35 for non-members.
