Join in Swim for Heart at Brockville YMCA

EMC Events - The 1000 Islands Y Swim Masters annual Swim for Heart will take place on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at the Brockville YMCA. Registration is at 6:30 p.m. The swim starts at 7 p.m.

The swim is open to participants of all ages and abilities. Participants swim for 30 minutes at their own pace - either individually or on a relay team. Invite family and friends, or challenge co-workers or another group of athletes. The Y is waiving pool entry fees, in support of this fund-raising event for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

One can also support this fundraiser by donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or by sponsoring one of the participants. Following the swim (around 8 p.m.), everyone will get together at a local restaurant for refreshments - own cost.
