Winter wonder lands in Seeley's Bay this weekend

EMC Events - Coming up this weekend (Feb. 3-5), winter wonder lands in Seeley's Bay with the return of the community's annual winter carnival.

Join the hundreds of visitors who flock to Frost Fest to enjoy the weekend of activities designed for all ages.

The gala opening kicks off this three-day event on Friday night with a fabulous fireworks display over the Bay along with one of the many new events lined up for this year - Penguin Bowling. Try your hand at knocking over the Frost Fest mascot as you take aim at the Penguin Pins!

What else is going on?

Be ready to visit a crooked house, join the ATV Poker Run or play a game of volleyball. Families and friends can have their fortune told, visit the craft show, view the Heritage Display, join the Scavenger Hunt, bid at the Silent Auction or enjoy a wagon ride throughout the town.

Check out the Seeley's Bay Community Firehall. Catch "Little California" playing there on Saturday night or show off your own talents in the Frost Fest Talent Show there on Sunday. As well, Gospel Fest is sure to lift your spirits at the Holiness Church on Sunday afternoon.

Still not enough?

Take in the Old Tyme Fiddlers for foot stomping entertainment or watch the Hunting Retriever Demonstration in the park. Anyone who's looking for a culinary experience, investigate the Chilli Challenge or enjoy a sit down meal at the Roast Beef Dinner. The dinner is scheduled for Sunday at the Seeley's Bay Community Hall starting at 5 p.m.

If that still isn't enough - there are still plenty of activities waiting for everyone!

And while visiting the different events and venues, be sure to get a Frost Fest Passport stamped at five of the eight locations (located on the brochure). Drop completed passports off at the Penguin Centre by 4 p.m. on Saturday for a chance to win a Frost Fest Prize Pack.
