Bella & Alfred: Pets of the Week
Posted Feb 2, 2012 By EMC NewsEMC News - This week's pets come from the Leeds and Grenville branch of the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA) located at 800 Centennial Rd., Brockville.
The shelter can be contacted by calling 613-345-5520 or by e-mail at leeds-grenville@ospca.on.ca.
Hi, I'm Bella. In the world of Meet Your Match, I'm what's known as a Personal Assistant. You're working on the computer? Let me press the keys. Reading the paper? I'll hold the pages down for you. Watching TV? I'll just plop in your lap so you can pet me. I love an orderly household, don't you? I'll help you with all your chores, and I'll help you relax when we're done.
You'll wonder how you ever managed without me. If you would like to meet me stop into the Leeds & Grenville Ontario SPCA between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
They call me Alfred, and I'm what you call a Busy Bee. I'm a naturally playful, curious, and trusting canine.
Take me for a big walk every day, give me something to do. After my job's done, I'll curl up in front of the fire with you in the evenings. (Externally motivated).
I'm waiting for you to fall in love with me but you really need to come and meet me first.
You're gonna love me!
